Today, the Mountaineers added to the 2018 recruiting class by picking up their 18th commitment via former Ohio State DB Josh Norwood. Norwood recorded 8 tackles in his freshman season in Columbus before announcing that he would transfer to Georgia Southern before actually transferring to Valdosta C.C.
He will be an immediate impact at the corner position, which the Mountaineers will still be very young at next season. Norwood will have two years of eligibility remaining, you can give the credit to cornerbacks coach Doug Belk for snagging this one out of Georgia. Belk has now received verbals from two corners from the state of Georgia, the other being Jayce Rogers.
