WVU Men’s Basketball Announces 2026-27 Big 12 Schedule

The WVU Department of Intercollegiate Athletics and the Big 12 Conference have announced the 2026-27 men’s basketball conference schedule.

WVU will play 18 conference games with nine games at home and nine on the road. The Mountaineers will have home games against Arizona, Arizona State, Cincinnati, Houston, Iowa State, Kansas State, Oklahoma State, TCU and UCF.

The Mountaineers will open Big 12 play at Kansas on Saturday, Jan. 2. WVU’s first home league game will be against Oklahoma State on Tuesday, Jan. 5. The Mountaineers will close out league play at Iowa State on Saturday, March 6.

West Virginia’s weekend home games at Hope Coliseum will be against Cincinnati (Jan. 16), Arizona (Jan. 30), Iowa State (Feb. 6) and Houston (Feb. 27). In addition to Oklahoma State, the Mountaineers will play host to Kansas State (Jan. 12), Arizona State (Jan. 27), UCF (Feb. 16) and TCU (March 3) in midweek games.

The Phillips 66 Big 12 Men’s Basketball Tournament will be held March 9-13 in Kansas City, Missouri.
