2027 DL Shares Home Visit Experience With WVU Football Coach
To keep showing their interest, the WVU football staff sent a coach out to southeastern Pennsylvania to visit a defensive line recruit.
Sammy Dantonka then posted about his time with West Virginia defensive line coach William Green.
“Thank you Coach Deke Adams for an amazing home visit, my family and I loved our conversation with you. I appreciate you taking the time to come out. Looking forward to the future!!!,” said Dantonka on Wednesday, May 6.
Green’s trip was ahead of Dantonka’s upcoming official visit at the end of the month.
Dantonka, a three-star outside linebacker/edge rusher, will be in Morgantown from May 29-31. Listed at 6-foot-2 and 225 pounds, Dantonka attends Carinal OโHara High School in Springfield, Pa.
Dantonkaโs WVU offer came in early April, adding to his growing list that also includes a couple other Big 12 schools in Cincinnati and UCF. He also has offers from JMU, Kent State, Eastern Michigan, Temple, USF among others.
