2024 4-star prospect Jaiden Glover was offered by West Virginia earlier this week. WV Sports Now spoke briefly with Glover about the offer and what’s next for the 6-foot-6 junior.

“I don’t have any visits scheduled but I would like to take a trip to WVU,” he said.

Glover has visited St. John’s and Rhode Island during his recruitment process. West Virginia became the newest pursuing school on Monday. WVU assistant DerMarr Johnson extended the offer to the New Jersey native. Glover is familiar with West Virginia’s program, mostly because of Bob Huggins.

“I know that Bob Huggins is a good coach who has been coaching for a while now and his tactics are very effective,” Glover said.

Glover currently plays at The Patrick School in Hillside, NJ. The high school junior averaged 14.5 points this past season, reaching a 27-point performance against Mount Carmel (MD). Glover’s ability to play both the guard and forward positions has got him receiving interest from many high-level programs.

Glover has received offers from ButlerCreighton, Illinois, Manhattan, Maryland, Nebraska, Rhode Island, Seton Hall, St. John’s, Texas Tech, UAB, UNLV, Villanova, West Virginia and others.

“I would describe my game as smooth because I can shoot the ball very well and I can create my own shot. I can also play good defense,” Glover said.
