It’s officially game week for West Virginia football, and of course, that means it’s time to bet on Mountaineer football.

West Virginia’s 3:30 p.m. game against Maryland isn’t likely to draw a ton of attention, but since it’s an ESPN game, perhaps it’ll draw more eyes than usual. On a loaded Week 1, fans will likely flood the markets with bets, too. Here are the odds from FanDuel and DraftKings.

WVU is currently a 3.5-point favorite, holding -102 odds for WVU covering the spread. Maryland covering a +3.5 spread holds -120 odds. DanDuel projects 56.5 points scored, with the over slotted at -106 odds and the under at -114 odds. A Moneyline bet for WVU has -170 odds while Maryland is +138.

WVU is a 3-point favorite, with -110 odds to cover the spread, while Maryland holds the same odds to cover a +3 spread. DraftKings set the over/under at 57 points, with -105 odds for the over and -115 odds for the under. WVU’s Moneyline odds are -150 while Maryland’s are +130.

According to ESPN’s Football Power Index, WVU is expected to win by a narrow margin, claiming a win percentage of 51.3% to Maryland’s 48.7%.

With a close game expected by odds-makers, the only favorable bets on the two sites would be taking the Maryland Moneyline.

Saturday’s contest will serve as the first meeting between the former foes since 2015, with the Mountaineers taking a 45-6 victory at Milan Puskar Stadium. WVU has won four of the last five games dating back to the 2011 season.
