Cam Griffin to Block for Cam Cook Again in West Virginia | WVU Football All 105

All 105 is a West Virginia Sports Now series profiling each member of the 2026 WVU Football Roster.

Following star running back Cam Cook, Cam Griffin (6-foot-2, 304-pounds) comes to WVU after spending three years with Jacksonville State and appearing in 33 games and 16 starts.

In 2025, Griffin played left tackle, left guard and even center while playing a total of 971 snaps. He was named first-team all-Conference USA.

Griffin will continuing blocking for star running back Cam Cook, who also transferred to the Mountaineers this offseason.

Last Year: Griffin started all 13 games, including four at left tackle, six at left guard, one at center, one at right guard and one at right tackle. He logged 971 snaps in total and graded out at 76.9% in pass blocking being used on 422 snaps.

Post-Camp Outlook: While Griffin had to learn WVU, his existing connection and familiarity with Cook was evident in the spring.

Projected Role: Griffin should be part of the starting offensive line.
