Can Israel Boyce Build On a Strong Freshman Year? | WVU Football All 105

All 105 is a West Virginia Sports Now series profiling each member of the 2025 WVU Football Roster.
A January 2024 enrollee for WVU Football, sophomore safety Israel Boyce managed to get on the field for eight games during his first college season, racking up 11 solo tackles on the year: six of them against Texas Tech.
Boyce attended Georgiaโs Douglas County High School, where he earned a three-star rating as a recruit in addition to first team all-state honors. After proving he belonged on a Power Four football field as a true freshman (even in limited snaps), the 5-foot-11, 190 pound Boyce looks like an excellent bet for an increased role as he continues to develop.
