West Virginia women’s basketball coach Mike Carey is continuing to add to his already impressive 2021 recruiting class. Friday afternoon Arkansas prep player Wynter Rogers announced her commitment to WVU.

Rogers (5-foot-11) is a wing from Little Rock Christian Academy in Little Rock, Arkansas. Rogers was named third-team all-state in Arkansas after a 23-6 senior season.

ESPN rates Rogers as a three-star recruit and the number 100 ranked prospect in the 2021 class. Rogers is now the fourth top-100 recruit to commit to WVU for the 2021 class, joining guards Ja’Naiya Quinerly (51), Messiah Hunter (55) and Emma Shumate (61).

Carey offered Rogers last month on May 18. She chose WVU over offers from Michigan State, Memphis, Oklahoma State, Ole Miss, Pitt, Texas Tech and Marquette, among others.
