Former West Virginia guard Jevon Carter has certainly had a solid summer, but this week may have solidified his case to make the roster. Earlier this week, Carter finished with 19 points, 8 rebounds and 8 assists to help advance the Grizzlies to the next round of the Summer League tournament.
Last night, was a different story.
Carter exploded for a career high 26 points on 11/22 shooting from the field. He also tacked on 8 rebounds and 6 assists in the Grizzlies 92-87 victory over the Utah Jazz.
Carter was very efficient on the offensive end and displayed the confidence we are all use to seeing at West Virginia.
Jevon will be back in action later tonight vs the Philadelphia 76ers in the quarterfinals at 10 p.m.
