West Virginia offensive linemen Colton McKivitz and Josh Sills were named to the Outland Trophy watch list Tuesday (July 23, 2019) afternoon. The award is given to college footballs top offensive lineman in the country, voted on by the football writers association of America (FWAA).

Redshirt senior Colton McKivitz leads the team in games started (35) and is a 2019 preseason All-Big 12 selection. Colton has spent most of his career at right tackle, but during his redshirt freshman year, he made his debut at left tackle in the opening game of the 2016 season against Missouri after starter Yodny Cajuste went down with a knee injury.

Right guard Josh Sills was an All-Big 12 second team honoree following the 2018 season. As one of the leaders on the offensive line, he is second in career starts (22) among the O-linemen.

These two are looking to pave the way for an offense that will be featuring a stable of running backs and may lean on the running game during the upcoming season.
