Deuce McBride, Among Other Former WVU Players Are At Coliseum For Kansas Game

MORGANTOWN, W. Va. – Former WVU guard Miles “Deuce” McBride, along with other former players, are in attendance for the Kansas game in Morgantown.

McBride has spent his rookie season moving back-and-forth from the New York Knicks and the Knicks’ G-League team. McBride has appeared in 21 NBA games, starting in two games for the Knicks. In the G-League, McBride has played seven games, averaging 30.4 points, 6.6 rebounds, 10.7 assists, 2.6 steals and 0.9 blocks per game.

Along with McBride, other former Mountaineers such as Joe Mazzulla and John Oliver are also in attendance.

Mazzulla is still assisting the Boston Celtics under first year head coach Ime Udoka. The former WVU guard was hired in 2019 by former Celtics head coach Brad Stevens as an assistant. Mazzulla was a part of the 2010 Final Four team.
