Eilert ‘Doesn’t Anticipate’ WVU G Seth Wilson to Play vs. UCF
WVU interim HC Josh Eilert spoke about Seth Wilson and his status heading into the UCF game slated for Tuesday night. Wilson missed the Baylor game over the weekend due to a death in his family.
“Seth is not going to be here tomorrow’s game. Looking at the service here today. He’s still nursing that groin injury as well so I’m not trying to rush him back by any means. They had the viewing [on Sunday], [assistant] Jordan McCabe and [equipment operations] Kyle Keesler headed up there to spend time with him. It’s a sad situation for him and his family,” Eilert said. “We’ll see him coming up this weekend but don’t anticipate having him here tomorrow.”
Wilson, a junior from Lorain, Ohio, is averaging 4.0 points on 38% shooting from three through 24 games this season.
