Former WVU Guard Jevon Carter Leads Brooklyn Nets in Points on Tuesday

What a night for former WVU guard Jevon Carter. The current Brooklyn Nets player scored a season-high of 21 points against the Boston Celtics on Tuesday night. All of Carter’s points came from 7-three’s. Carter also recorded three rebounds, three assists and one block.

Despite Carter leading his team in scoring, the Nets lost to the Celtics, 126-91.

The former Mountaineer is in his first season with the Brooklyn Nets, after spending some time with the Memphis Grizzlies and the Phoenix Suns. Carter was apart of the Suns 2021 NBA Finals run last season, before getting traded to the Nets on draft night. Carter is averaging 3.4 points, 1.4 rebounds and 1.0 assists in his fourth NBA season.
