Friday’s WVU Wrestling Dual vs. No. 13 Iowa State has been Cancelled

The West Virginia wrestling team was supposed to end its 2021 regular season at home Friday, Feb. 19, for a Senior Night dual against Big 12 foe, No. 13 Iowa State. Per WVU Athletics, that dual has been cancelled. The decision is in accordance with the Big 12 Conference wrestling interruption guidelines.
The cancellation brings the 2021 regular season to a close for the Old Gold and Blue. WVU ends regular season play with a 7-3, 3-2 Big 12 dual meet record on the year.

Looking ahead, the Mountaineers travel to Tulsa, Oklahoma, for the 2021 Big 12 Wrestling Championship on March 6-7. The 2021 NCAA Division I Wrestling Championships will take place on March 18-20, in St. Louis, Missouri.
