MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – WVU Football (2-1) begins conference play against the No. 4 Oklahoma Sooners (3-0) at 7:30 p.m. EST tonight, but the game day festivities have been in full swing since this morning! Oklahoma is coming off a too-close-for-comfort 23-16 win over Nebraska. The Sooners welcome a Mountaineer team to Norman, Ok. that is riding high after an LIU 66-0 blowout followed by a 27-21 upset of then-No.15 Virginia Tech that knocked them completely out of the top-25. Will WVU’s win streak momentum be enough to propel them to a win against the reigning Big 12 Conference Champions on the road? Will WVU head coach Neal Brown’s five-game losing streak be broken? Can the Mountaineers get the program’s first win in Norman since 1982?
