Jaysean Paige earns BBL Player of the Month honors

Five games into the British Basketball League’s season, WVU’s Jaysean Paige is lighting up the court for his new club.

Paige plays for the Newcastle Eagles this season and leads the team, and league, in scoring at 26.6 points per game while pitching in 6 assists per. He is shooting a lights-out 52.6% behind the arc. Bob Huggins would be proud of him snatching 2.6 steals per contest, a number that puts him third in the league.

For his efforts, he was named as the BBL Player of the Month. 

Behind his great play, the team is atop the league standings and undefeated at 5-0.
