The game will be broadcast on ABC. This will be WVU’s fourth noon kickoff this season.
West Virginia (4-2, 3-2 Big 12) is coming off of an upset win over No. 16 Kansas State while Texas (4-2, 3-2) is coming off of its own upset over No. 6 Oklahoma State.
These two teams met in Morgantown for West Virginia’s homecoming last season. WVU starting quarterback Austin Kendall threw four interceptions in what was an otherwise close game. Entering the fourth quarter, Texas led only 21-17, but a 21-point fourth-quarter led to a 42-31 Longhorn victory.
