Mountaineers in the NFL: Week 16

There were nine former West Virginia University football players in actions during Week 16 of the 2020 NFL season. Let’s take a look at how they did:

Carolina Panthers (Panthers 20, Football Team 13)
Rasul Douglas – CB – 4th season – Recorded four tackles with three being solo stops. Saw action on 70 defensive plays and six special teams snaps.

Will Grier – QB – 2nd season – Not active

Kenny Robinson – S – 1st season – Saw action on 14 special teams snaps.

Cincinnati Bengals (Bengals 37, Texans 31)
Quinton Spain – OG – 6th season – Spain started at right guard. Saw action on all 76 offensive plays and eight special teams snaps.

Cleveland Browns (Jets 23, Browns 16)
Karl Joseph – S – 5th season – Started at strong safety. Recorded five tackles with two being solo stops. Joseph saw action on all 69 defensive plays and nine special teams snaps.

Green Bay Packers (Packers 40, Titans 14)
Tavon Austin – WR – 8th season – Austin had two receptions for five yards. He saw action on 17 offensive plays and four special teams snaps.

Indianapolis Colts (Steelers 28, Colts 24)
Mark Glowinski – OG – 6th season – Started at right guard. Saw action on all 69 offensive plays, while also recording playing time on four special teams snaps. This season he has played every offensive snap.

Las Vegas Raiders (Dolphins 26, Raiders 25)
Nick Kwiatkoski – LB – 5th season – Placed on the COVID-19 reserve list.

Daryl Worley – CB – 5th season – Placed on the COVID-19 reserve list.

Los Angeles Chargers (Chargers 19, Broncos 16)
Kyzir White – LB – 3rd season – Placed on the injured reserve list after suffering a hamstring injury.

Miami Dolphins (Dolphins 26, Raiders 25)
Adam Pankey – OT – 4th season – Active but did not play.

New England Patriots (Bills 38, Patriots 9)
Yodny Cajuste – OT – 2nd season – Placed on injured reserve.

New York Jets (Jets 23, Browns 16)
Trevon Wesco – TE – 2nd season – He saw action on eight offensive plays and 17 special teams snaps.

San Francisco 49ers (49ers 20, Cardinals 12)
Colton McKivitz – OT – 1st season – Saw action on 27 offensive snaps and five special teams snaps.

Seattle Seahawks (Seahawks 20, Rams 9)
Bruce Irvin  –  LB – 9th season – Tore his ACL in Week 2 against the Patriots and was placed on the injured reserve list by the Seahawks.

Geno Smith – QB – 8th season – Active but did not play.

Pittsburgh Steelers (Steelers 28, Colts 24)
Wendell Smallwood – RB – 5th season – Placed on Steelers practice squad.

Tennessee Titans (Packers 40, Titans 14)
David Long Jr. – LB – 2nd season – Started at inside linebacker. He led the Titans in tackles with nine. Eight were solo stops. He saw action on all 66 defensive plays and four special teams snaps.
