Pete Rose’s grandson, PJ, made a visit to West Virginia. PJ Rose is an outside linebacker in the class of 2023. The grandson of MLB’s hit king made the visit to Morgantown on Thursday.

“Thank you for a great day at West Virginia,” Rose said.

Rose’s grandfather also thanked the WVU coaching staff for hosting PJ.

Rose currently plays at Saint Xavier High School in Cincinnati. The 6-foot, 200 pound linebacker played 10 games for the Bombers this past season. Rose also plays baseball for Saint Xavier.

West Virginia currently has six commits for the 2023 class, which ranks No. 20 in the country according to 247 Sports. Josiah Trotter (LB), Cameron Calhoun (CB), Josiah Jackson (CB), Jahiem White (RB), Raheim Jeter (QB) and Cameron Jackson (DL) are what WVU head coach Neal Brown and his coaching staff got to commit.
