Productive FCS Edge Visiting WVU Football After Trip to Ohio State

A transfer edge rusher Ohio State is interested in will take a visit to West Virginia as well. According to a Friday morning report from Pete Nakos of On3 Sports, Gardner-Webb transfer Antonio O’Berry will check out the WVU football program on Saturday.

O’Berry (6-foot-6 and 240 pounds) will travel to Morgantown on Saturday after spending time in Columbus, Ohio to visit with Ohio State on Friday.

The Dayton, Ohio native and Wayne High School product proved he’s ready for a higher level of college football in 2025 after recording 51 total tackles with 29 as solo stops, seven pass deflections, 4.5 sacks and a forced fumble at the FCS level.

O’Berry started his college career at Tiffin University before transferring up to Gardner-Webb.
