Raines Doubles Down on Commitment

This year’s West Virginia football recruiting class is said to be the best in recent memory if not ever. 

 When you have this good of a recruiting class, there’s always that one player that stands out from the rest and that player happens to be Kwantel Rains. Even though Raines now says he is “100% committed” to WVU, there was some uncertainty not too long ago based on this tweet he posted earlier this month:

Some fans looked at that and told themselves that the 4-star safety was going to explore other options, but of course, all this got cleared up rather quickly. It was no doubt a scare to some fans, but most had a feeling he was 100% faithful to the school that first offered him: West Virginia. 

Raines has since had his official visit and has announced that he will be signing with West Virginia on Dec 20th.
