Redshirt-freshman defensive back David Vincent-Okoli is no longer with the West Virginia football program, according to Mike Casazza of 247Sports.

Vincent-Okoli was a four-star rated defensive back and the highest-rated recruit in WVU’s 2020 recruiting class. He was with the team all last season but did not see the field. He was one of 11 players suspended for WVU’s season-opener against Eastern Kentucky

Vincent-Okoli is the third defensive back to leave the WVU program in the last two months. Starting cornerback Dreshun Miller and All-American safety Tykee Smith have both entered the NCAA transfer portal.
