Newly hired Marshall University football coach Charles Huff will not be brining back many of the Thundering Herd assistant coaches as he begins to put his staff in place, according to multiple reports.

Football Scoop and HD Media’s Grant Traylor both reported late Thursday that Huff is making major changes to the MU staff:

J.C. Price, Marshall’s co-defensive coordinator, tweeted Thursday that he would not be returning to that role with the Herd. Defensive line coach Cornell Brown also tweeted that he would not be back with Marshall.

According to the updated Football Scoop report, Huff will make decisions on the remaining offensive coaching staff on Wednesday.
