The preseasons honors continue to roll in for West Virginia’s most powerful pair of brothers.

The Outland Trophy is given to the nation’s top interior lineman, the Nagurski Award goes to the nation’s top defensive player.

Darius, the elder Stills brother broke into the spotlight last season, earning First-Team All-Big 12 honors and was a finalist for the Big 12 Defensive Lineman of the Year Award. Darius racked up 47 tackles and led the team in tackles for loss with 14.5 and tied with his brother for the team lead in sacks with seven. In December Darius announced that he would return for one final season instead of declaring for the NFL draft.

Not stuck in his brother’s shadow, the younger Stills brother also put together a productive 2019 season. Dante had 25 total tackles, 11.5 for a loss and tied Darius for the team lead in sacks with seven. He was named to the All-Big 12 Second Team following the season.

Both Dante and Darius will start along WVU’s defensive line this season.
