Top 2026 Recruit Puts WVU Women in Final 4
Asia Lee, one of the top women’s basketball recruits for 2026 according to Rivals, has WVU included in the four finalists for her commitment. The list includes WVU, Florida State, Georgia Tech and Houston, per Talia Goodman of Rivals.

Lee is a combo guard for Olathe North High School in Olathe, Kansas. Last season, she averaged 23.9 points per game, 3.8 rebounds, two steals and 0.9 assists per game.
On the offensive end, Lee shot 39% from three-point range and 46% from the floor. She had five performances where she scored 30 or more points with a season-high of 44 against Lawrence on Feb. 18.
In her sophomore season, the 5-foot-10 guard finished with 19.2 points per game and had 12.1 points per game as a freshman.
Prospects Nation has Lee listed as a four-star recruit and a member of the Elite 150 prospects.
WVU finished last season 25-8 and is coming off its second consecutive season of advancing to the round of 32 in the NCAA Tournament. Last season, they were eliminated by North Carolina.
Houston finished last season 5-25 last year with a 1-17 Big 12 record. Georgia Tech had a 22-11 record, losing in the first round of the NCAA Tournament. Florida State made it to the second round of the NCAA Tournament with a 22-11 record.
Guard play has been an emphasis for Mark Kellogg since he took the job at WVU. Jordan Harrison and JJ Quinerly have headed the back court for the WVU women the past two years.
Quinerly was the back-to-back Big 12 Defensive Player of the Year under Kellogg and is currently playing for the Dallas Wings in the WNBA.
Harrison is entering her senior year as a member of WVU and made the All-Big 12 Second team while averaging 13.5 points and 5.3 assists per game, good for second most in the Big 12.
