Traditional Road Uniform for WVU’s Guaranteed Rate Bowl Appearance
The WVU Football post-season is among us, and the Mountaineers (6-6) will enter Chase Field dressed to impress.
Blue helmets, white jerseys, and gold pants will adorn the players when they clash with the Big Ten’s Minnesota Golden Gophers (8-4) on Dec. 28 at 10:15 p.m. EST on ESPN.

This combination has already seen play this season; the blue helmet – white jersey duo was worn during week 4’s 16-13 loss to the Oklahoma Sooners. The Mountaineers are 32-13 when wearing the white jersey and gold pants since 2001, making it the program’s most worn combination. This entire uniform configuration was worn during WVU’s 29-17 win over TCU in Week 8.
