Utah Valley Transfer Fardaws Aimaq Contacted by West Virginia
Sources tell WV Sports Now that Utah Valley transfer Fardaws Aimaq has been contacted by West Virginia. Aimaq entered the transfer portal on Friday night and was contacted by the WVU coaching staff right away.

Aimaq (6-foot-11, 245 pounds) has played under UVU head coach Mark Madsen for the past two seasons. Madsen played in the NBA for nine seasons, winning two NBA Finals with the Los Angeles Lakers. This past season, Aimaq averaged 18.9 points, 13.6 rebounds, 1.7 assists, 0.7 steals and 1.3 blocks per game. The Canadian native recorded 24 points and 22 rebounds in a win against BYU back in December.
