WATCH: Fast Start Continues for WVU Commit Christion Stokes

A week after doing it all for Harper Woods High School in a season-opening win over Ypsilanti High School, Harper Woods running back/cornerback Christion Stokes was perhaps even better in his second game.

In a 58-27 victory over Pinckney High School Thursday night, Stokes scored three more touchdowns as a running back while continuing to play lockdown defense in Harper Woods’ secondary. With six touchdowns in two games, Stokes’ offensive and defensive prowess is on full display.

On a couple of shorter touchdown runs, Stokes flashed his power in breaking a few tackles to bust into the end zone, and on his linger touchdown, he showcased his speed and evasiveness in navigating his way to the end zone for his third touchdown on the night.

While Stokes is currently ranked as the 470th-rated recruit in the 2022 class (the 35th-rated athlete and the 14th-rated recruit from Michigan), his stellar play to begin this season — especially if he’s able to continue to produce as the season winds on — will only serve to further his ascent up recruiting ranks.
