Watch: WVU C Jesse Edwards’ Dunk Ignites Crowd at Backyard Brawl
MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – Not that anything was needed to ignite the crowd with Pitt visiting the WVU Coliseum, but Jesse Edwards did his part to make the atmosphere even more electric.
Edwards caught the ball at the rim and dunked it home early on in the first quarter against Pitt. His monster dunk increased West Virginia’s lead to 8-2 at the time.

The Mountaineers would then use that dunk to continue momentum throughout most of the opening minutes of the game.
WVU unveiled the return of black jerseys during player introductions tonight.
