Watch: WVU Football Unveils New Look for Practice Field

To continue the makeover of the WVU football program, the Mountaineers’ practice field will have a new look for fall camp.

After already unveiling a new design for Mountaineer Field at Milan Puskar Stadium, West Virginia posted a video to show off the new practice field on Sunday.

The end zones will feature a new font with one side reading “West Virginia” and other “Mountaineers” in big bold letters.

As usual, the flying WV logo will sit in the middle of the field at the 50-yard line. The midfield WV logo is in gold with a navy blue outline.

Rich Rodriguez’s second tenure as head coach of the Mountaineers will officially kickoff at home on August 30 as West Virginia hosts Robert Morris.
