West Virginia Football Offers Four-Star RB Dilin Jones

Running back Dilin Jones announced via Twitter that he had officially received an offer from West Virginia University on Friday afternoon.

Jones, who is entering his junior season at Our Lady of Good Counsel High School in Olney, Maryland, is a four-star rated prospect with 247Sports.

According to Jones’ Twitter, West Virginia was the 15th Division I offer he had received. His others include Boston College, Liberty, Marshall, Florida State, Maryland, Louisville, Notre Dame, Mississippi, Minnesota, Kentucky, Toledo, Virginia Tech, Michigan State and Auburn.

The 6-foot, 180-pound Jones was named to the All-Washington Catholic Athletic Conference First Team as a running back for his sophomore season last year. Good Counsel finished 7-5 and fell to St. John’s in the WCAC championship game.
