West Virginia Lands JUCO CB
On Tuesday evening, Copiah-Lincoln Community College (Wesson, MS) defensive back Keith Washington took to Twitter to announce his commitment to West Virginia over other offers from Texas Tech, Kansas, East Carolina, and Memphis.
Washington was rated as one of the highest prospects in the state of Alabama before committing to Michigan in 2015. Washington then transferred to Co-Lin this past September with hopes of finding a new home in Division I football. Soon after settling into his new role of a JUCO prospect, Washington received an offer from the Mountaineers.
First I would like to thank God for allowing me to play the sport I love. I would also like to thank the CoLin coaching staff, the Michigan fans, and all the coaches who recruited me. I will be continuing my career at West Virginia University 🏈⚠️ #TakeMeHome18 pic.twitter.com/oQ2eRTY3pE
