West Virginia Remains Among Top Schools for 2024 CB Recruit Lloyd Irvin III
The Mountaineers remain in the mix for class of 2024 cornerback recruit Lloyd Irvin III.
Irvin (6-foot-3 and 175 pounds), a player WVU has been after for awhile now and has visited Morgantown multiple times, publicized his top 6 schools Monday morning and included West Virginia. The Upper Marlboro, Maryland native released his most up to date list that also has Boston College, Charlotte, Marshall, Maryland and Virginia Tech.

Interesting enough, Irvin tweeted this group of programs just a few days after putting out a cryptic tweet that alludes to WVU as his college home. A day before the NFL Draft kicked off, Irvin tweeted an image of a draft card that read him as a future number one overall pick with West Virginia, not any of the others, as his school.

That graphic may have been just a flippant tweet and may not mean anything, but he’s certainly showing a significant interest in West Virginia.
Irvin is regarded as a ballhawk type corner and even referred as simply an athlete position wise by some.
