The West Virginia Sports Now Daily Notebook is a daily recap of news concerning West Virginia Football and Basketball. 

**UPDATE (3:26 p.m.)-

West Virginia becomes the 10th school to offer 2024 recruit Ryan Puglisi. Puglisi is a 6-foot-3, 205-pound quarterback who plays at Avon old Farms High School in Avon, Connecticut. He’s a three-star recruit and the fourth best prospect in the state and the 24th overall quarterback prospect in the country. He’s received offers from Akron, Boston College, Connecticut, Duke, Indiana, Massachusetts, Minnesota, Ole Miss, Temple and West Virginia. He has also received interest, but no offers from Arizona, Georgia, Penn State, Rutgers and Syracuse.

**UPDATE (3:08 p.m.)-

West Virginia football offered 2024 four-star recruit Mike Matthews. Matthews is a two-sport athlete playing both basketball and football for Parkview Highschool in Lilburn, Georgia. He’s a 6-foot-3, 180-pounds shooting guard in basketball and the eighth rated safety nationally for 2024 in football. West Virginia is his 20th offer after Auburn, Arkansas, Georgia Tech, Kentucky, Liberty, Louisville, Michigan, Mississippi State, Ohio State, Oklahoma, Pittsburgh, Stanford, Tennessee, Texas A&M, UAB, UCF and USC. He’s also being pursued by Clemson, Notre Dame and Georgia but has not received an offer from them yet.

**UPDATE (2:27 p.m.)-

West Virginia offered four-star recruit Demitrius Bell from Blackmon High School in Murfreesboro, Tennessee. Bell is a 6-foot-1, 165-pounds athlete who has offers from 17 programs. Those offers are from Arkansas State, Austin Peay, Ball State, Boston College, Eastern Kentucky, Kentucky, LSU, Memphis, Michigan, Michigan State, Ole Miss, Penn State, Pittsburgh, Toledo, Vanderbilt, West Virginia and Western Kentucky.

**UPDATE (12:13 p.m.)-

West Virginia offered four-star wide receiver Keyon Brown. Brown is a 6-foot-3, 188 pounds wide receiver from James Rickards High School in Tallahassee, Florida. West Virginia is his 12th offer after Charlotte, Florida State, Kentucky, Louisville, Miami, Mississippi State, Nebraska, South Carolina, Tennessee, USF, and Wake Forest. 247Sports also has him being pursued by Georgia, but he has not yet received a scholarship offer from them.
