**UPDATE (4:42 PM)-
West Virginia men’s basketball signee Patrick Suemnick was named the Ken Rochlitz Division I MVP during the NJCAA All-Star Game in Las Vegas. Suemnick will come to Morgantown during the summer and will have three years of eligibility with WVU.

**UPDATE (3:23 PM) –
West Virginia athletics broke down the top six talent hand-offs in their football program since WWII with the two hand-offs from 2001-08 being named No. 4 and No. 1 on the list. It’s no shock that Rich Rodriguez, whose 32-5 record from 2005-07 comes close to Clarence Spears’ 25-2-1 mark from 1922-24 as the two most successful periods in school history, finds himself twice on the list.
**UPDATE (1:17 PM) –
One of West Virginia’s cornerback recruiting targets is set to announce his final decision on July 1, first reported by Mountaineers Now. Jermaine Matthews, a three-star cornerback from Winton Woods High School in Cincinnati, Ohio is set to decide between nine schools. The 6-foot, 175-pounds cornerback final nine is Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Maryland, Pitt, Rutgers, Washington, and West Virginia.
