UPDATE – 1:42 p.m.
Excited to share both West Virginia and Iowa State fb teams passed COVID tests and we will playing @Big12Conference football on Saturday. Both WVU and ISU have been COVID clear for all 10 of their games this year – really amazing given what we were thinking back in August.

UPDATE – 7 a.m.
As we get closer to the early National Signing Day for Class of 2021 football recruits, West Virginia remains on the trail of some Class of 2022 guys. Earlier this week the Mountaineers put an offer out to Florida high school safety/receiver C.J. Smith.

Smith received his WVU offer Tuesday and since then has also been offered by rivals Pitt and Penn State.
West Virginia also recently offered high school junior Alex Orji, a 6-foot-2, three-star dual threat quarterback from Texas who also has offers from Oklahoma, Virginia Tech, Baylor, Texas Tech, Minnesota and Nebraska among others.
Blessed and thankful to be offered by @CoachSeanReagan and the West Virginia Football staff!! #HailWV pic.twitter.com/Tvm3hMgaoI
