UPDATE – 7 a.m.
As former Capital High standout Turan Rush (currently at Eastern Michigan) pointed out on Sunday, another former Cougar — Louisville’s Dorian Etheridge — currently leads the country in tackles for a loss. Etheridge helped lead Capital to consecutive West Virginia Class AAA state championship game appearances in 2014 (a win against South Charleston) and 2015 (a loss to Wheeling Park).
