WVU Baseball Announces Cancellation of Recently Scheduled Game at Marshall
West Virginia’s recently added road game at Marshall has been canceled, as announced by the WVU baseball program on Wednesday afternoon.
The decision to cancel the game was made due to “inclement weather” in the area.
Ranked within the top 25 of multiple major polls, West Virginia (8-2) will be back in action on Friday to start their originally scheduled series against Columbia. First pitch for the three-game series is set for 2 pm ET.
The Mountaineers have only played one home game to this point, destroying Ohio 19-6 in the home opener on Feb. 25.
