WVU Basketball Mentioned on Joe Lunardi’s Seed List

ESPN college basketball analyst Joe Lunardi included a placement for WVU basketball in his most recent seeding prediction for March Madness. He lists WVU in the “considered” section, meaning the Mountaineers miss the tournament.

The considered portion of the rankings includes teams ranked No. 77-85, as placed by Lunardi. The Mountaineers share spots in the section with Big 12 foes Baylor and TCU.

The Mountaineers are currently 13-6 and 4-2 in big 12 play with a chance to secure a resume-building win over No. 1 Arizona at 2 p.m. Saturday. It would be WVU’s second ranked win this season, following the 86-75 upset over No. 22 Kansas on Jan. 10.
