WVU DL Sean Martin to Participate in Upcoming Shrine Bowl
Add another departing WVU player to the list of Mountaineers who have earned an opportunity at a showcase event leading up to the NFL Draft. On Wednesday, defensive lineman Sean Martin accepted his invitation to participate in the East-West Shrine Bowl.
Martin will now try to impress professional scouts at AT&T Stadium in Arlington Texas on Jan. 30, 2025. The West Virginia native has 18 total tackles and 3.5 sacks. He recorded 27 tackles last year and 34 in 2022.

Martin will be joined by teammate on the WVU defense Garnett Hollis, who accepted his opportunity last week.
In addition to Martin and Hollis, offensive lineman Wyatt Milum and long snapper Austin Brinkman will be participating in the Senior Bowl, but several other Mountaineers have been invited to take part in the Hula Bowl.
Tight end Kole Taylor headlines a group of WVU players with Hula Bowl invites that includes defensive linemen Fatroma Mulbah and TJ Jackson and center Brandon Yates were all invited to the 2025 Hula Bowl.
