West Virginia forward Mohamed Wague is sidelined indefinitely with a right foot injury, per release. Wague has played in all 28 games during his first season with WVU.

Sources tell WV Sports Now that Wague’s injury is a stress fracture that has built up for a few games now.

Wague is averaging 4.1 points and 3.1 rebounds for the Mountaineers this season. Wague is shooting 74 percent from the field during his sophomore season.

West Virginia plays No. 3 Kansas in Lawrence on Saturday afternoon. WVU will have Jimmy Bell, James Okonkwo and Patrick Suemnick active and ready to play at the 5-spot.

WV Sports Now will keep you up to date with Wague’s injury.
