WVU Fans Concerned About Bubble Watch After Another Tough Loss
Continuing their recent theme of inconstancy, WVU basketball let a game slip away and lost 73-69 to BYU on Tuesday night. The loss followed up a Saturday win over Utah, causing fans to debate West Virginia’s NCAA Tournament hopes as the Mountaineers fall to 15-9 overall and 6-7 in Big 12 play.
Below shows some of the reaction from fans during and after the game.
WVU will probably need a road win if they want a more comfortable chance at the tournament

Did WVU just forget how to play fundamental basketball those last five minutes or?

The bad losses just keep piling up one after another. This is a team they should have beat just like K State, ASU, and TCU.

Losing to inferior teams at home will put you on the bubble. Win the games you’re supposed to win and you’re golden, but you all struggle to do that each week. Disappointing to be winning all game and lose in the last few mins. Smh

Injuries really cost us the shot at being a top 3 seed. Now we are going to the NIT. Because we lost to bad teams. Who gets 5 quad wins with 12 games left and misses the tournament??
