With the holiday break over, the WVU football staff is back focused on recruiting. This is evident in the recent news that they have a visit scheduled with a two-time All-American linebacker.

Division II star Tristan Exline of UT-Permian will take an official visit to West Virginia on January 9th, according to a report by Matt Zenitz of CBS Sports. WVU isnโ€™t his only upcoming major visit either.

Exline is also scheduled to visit Florida State a few days before traveling up north on Jan. 6.

The 6-foot-1, 215-pound Exline totaled 143 tackles, 20 tackles for a loss, six sacks, two forced fumbles, and an interception in 2025. Overall in his college career to date, Exline has recorded 272 tackles, 39 tackles for a loss, 12 sacks, eight passes defended, four forced fumbles and three picks while being named an All-American each of the past two seasons.

In addition to Florida State and West Virginia, Exline, a Texas native, has offers on the table from Buffalo, Central Michigan, Delaware, Jacksonville State, James Madison, Kent State, Missouri State, North Texas, Sam Houston, Troy, UTEP, UTSA and Western Kentucky.
