WVU Football DL Appears in Transfer Portal
Less than a year after transferring to the WVU football program, Tomiwa Durojaiye is back in the transfer portal.
The defensive lineman appeared in the portal again on Tuesday morning, a day after the New Year’s Day holiday.
Durojaye recorded 23 total tackles and six tackles for a loss during the 2023 season as a Mountaineer.
The Middletown, Delaware native was classified as a three-star recruit in the 2022 class out of Middletown High School. He ended up picking Kentucky over WVU out of high school.
To put what Durojaiye was thought of as a recruit into perspective, he was ranked as the number 42 defensive end in the nation by Rivals.
