WVU Football Flips 2027 Slot WR Recruit From SEC School
Completing a successful official visit weekend, the WVU football staff flipped a 2027 recruit previously committed to an SEC school.
Bryan Duncan, listed at 5-foot-9, 160 pounds, announced he’s changing his mind and committing to West Virginia on Tuesday. Duncan, previously locked in with Kentucky, is a native of Cairo, Ga.
“This trip helped me feel like where I should be as a player,” Duncan said as part of his announcement about why he decided to become a Mountaineer.
West Virginia officially offered Duncan on Feb. 16, with inside wide receivers coach Logan Bradley and senior offensive assistant Travis Trickett leading his recruitment.
Duncan, expected to be a slot receiver in college, recorded 89 carries for 736 yards and caught 38 passes for 767 yards while scoring 19 total scores.
Duncan also had offers from Cincinnati, Mississippi State, Pittsburgh, Wake Forest, Cincinnati, Tulane, South Florida and several others.
