In an effort to strengthen the defense, the WVU football program sent an offer to a transfer linebacker.

As the first major offer he promoted publicly, Tyler Stolsky revealed his West Virginia offer on social media on Monday.

Stolsky is in search of his third school after spending one season at Florida Atlantic and his first two years in the Big Ten at Minnesota.

The Mountaineers could now provide the 6-foot-3, 225-pound Stolsky an opportunity to return to the Power Four level, something his production with the Owls signals he could be ready for again. He made 34 total tackles in two seasons with the Golden Gophers.
