In an effort to help fans keep up with the growing list of WVU football players planning to enter the transfer portal, West Virginia Sports Now has put together a tracker to keep up with the activity.

To this point, most of the departing players did not see significant time during the 2025 season. Of course, star running back Jahiem White, who entered the season on the Doak Walker Award Watch List and then suffered a season-ending injury in Week 2, is the most noticeable loss so far.

Offense

QB Nicco Marchiol

QB Khalil Wilkins

QB Jaylen Henderson

Can anyone blame a young athlete for fleeing from this trainwreck and finding a better situation? Now that assistant coaches see the writing on the wall and are abandoning the Product we will see even more transfers out. Players and coaches see from the inside what sorry shape this program is in and how much we will suck in 2026 and worry about the damage to their careers.

As the dust settles it is clear we are in for another poor season. We traded one set of 4-8 players for a different set of 4-8 players. What happened to all the donations that were supposed to let RR bring in true high level talent?

Was it all a lie to justify hiring the Fraud? It’s a shame West Virginia doesn’t have any real sports journalists to investigate and report.
