If you haven’t seen Hamilton quarterback Nicco Marchiol play this season, you’re missing out. However, you’ll have a chance soon.

Coming off two strong weeks to open Arizona 6A football, he’ll lead Hamilton High School into a nationally televised contest against Las Vegas-based Bishop Gorman High School. Bishop Gorman, the seventh-ranked team in the nation according to MaxPreps, will travel to Hamilton for a matchup of Top 30 teams nationwide.

Hamilton and Bishop Gorman will go head to head at 7 p.m. PST on Friday, Sept. 17 on ESPNU.

Through two games this season, Marchiol has passed for 641 yards (25-of-39) and six touchdowns while rushing for 73 yards on 10 carries. Having guided Hamilton to a 2-0 start, a big test against Bishop Gorman will showcase Marchiol’s dual-threat ability to a national audience.

After an electric senior debut of 400 yards and five touchdowns, Marchiol’s efficient game may not catch as many eyes, but he’ll have the national exposure to make an impression now.
