This game was scheduled as a replacement for a game against Buffalo that was originally scheduled for the 29th but was canceled due to COVID-19 protocols inside the Buffalo program. WVU coach Bob Huggins said the team was looking for a replacement game following Tuesday night’s loss to No. 3 Kansas.
Northeastern is 1-4 this season, most recently losing 76-58 to Georgia on Tuesday. The Huskies finished last season with 17 wins, losing in the championship game of the Colonial Athletic Association tournament to Hofstra. The game will tip-off at 2 p.m. and be broadcast on ESPN+.
