WVU K Michael Hayes Announces Return For 2024 Season
WVU kicker Michael Hayes announced on social media that he will be returning for the 2024 season. Next year will be Hayes’ last season of eligibility.
Hayes posted the following on X (Twitter) on Sunday afternoon.
“Run it back WVU Football… one last ride. #Year6,” he wrote.

Hayes joined West Virginia’s team in January 2023 after four years at Georgia State. Hayes appeared in all 13 games for the Mountaineers this past season. The Florence, South Carolina native was a perfect 46-of-46 off of extra points while kicking for 17-of-21 on field goals.
